A11 Call for Entries

It’s that time again—we want to see what you’ve been up to this past year (and maybe even give you a little something). A11 is right around the corner, so get your entries together for our annual awards show. Registration is now open!

It is recommend that each entry be entered into the one category that you think your entry fits most accurately in terms of its purpose. You may choose to enter the same piece in more than one category. Please be aware that you’ll be required to pay a separate fee for submitting to each category, even if the entry is the same. Ultimately, the entry is eligible to win an award in only one category. Judges retain the right to reclassify entries from one category to another or to select only components of the submission for honors.

* Digital Categories: Must submit a public, non-password protected URL that showcases the work. This is required to ensure screen-based work is evaluated on-screen.

Student: All work created while attending school must be submitted in one of the student categories. Work created while at professional internships must be entered into the professional categories.

All entries must have been published/produced after April 2014. The same project cannot be entered into the awards two years in a row, unless it has undergone significant content and design changes.

All entries need to be no more than FIVE individual physical pieces (packaging, photographs, etc.) If an entry has more than five components, please deliver the physical entries that best showcase the work and consider submitting a photograph/print (as one of the five entry elements) that showcases more of the components and the breadth of the project.

Extended Deadline: Friday, June 12, 2015 (Late Fees Apply)
All physical entries must be delivered to the AIGA/AIA office no later than 5:00pm on Friday, June 12, 2014 to be eligible for judging.

So what do I win?
Winning entries will receive exposure through the A11 Design Annual and will be honored at the A11 Awards Gala and Exhibition in the Fall of 2015. Winners may be asked to provide additional copies or high-resolution digital files of their winning entry for use in the exhibition.

Entry Fees

AIGA KC offers a streamlined fee structure: no exhibition and printing fees, and no series entry fee for up to five individual physical pieces. If you wish to submit more than five pieces, please create a second entry.

Nonmembers: $65 per entry
AIGA Members: $45 per entry
AIGA Student Members: $25 per entry

Extended Deadline Fee: $15 per entry
Exhibition & Printing Fee: FREE
