Want to relive the joy of a school field trip? Join AIGA KC at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens for a relaxed, creative day in nature. No permission slip needed.

Motion graphics designer + illustrator Katya Ross will kick things off with a short, inspiring talk. Then it’s your turn to explore the gardens and sketch, paint, collage, color or whatever feels right to you. Bring your favorite supplies and a sketchbook if you have them. We’ll also have some basics on hand to borrow.

Come solo, bring a friend, or make it a family day! All ages welcome. No art experience necessary.
