AIGA Kansas City is turning 30 this year. For our 30th anniversary, we’ve created a Legacy category celebrating Kansas City’s most amazing design history. Get ready to travel back in time and show us what you think makes Kansas City’s Design community great. Winners will be the cornerstone for the Design Here archives and some may be selected for the AIGA KC’s Nelson Atkin Museum archive. Part of your entry fees are going towards materials to preserve our great legacy at the Nelson Atkins Museum.

Work created since 1989 is valid for submission. Only selected work will need physical entries.

designed here.KC is here to engage regional designers, companies, and institutions to craft a living story of Kansas City’s regional contribution to the national design legacy. AIGA KC and Ann Willoughby, founder and chief creative officer of Willoughby Design, are coordinating this effort.

They are embarking on a journey to preserve, chronicle, and celebrate a 100-year-plus graphic design legacy.

Entries are 100% digital uploads. No need to drop off submissions for judging.
