3…2…1… TAKEOFF. This year’s 18th Annual Gala will be celebrated at Corrigan Station in the Crossroads on September 28th from 6-10pm. We will be awarding the winners of our annual competition, shedding light on the last year of design coming out of Kansas City, and spending a night together as a creative community.

In an effort to remain transparent and be able to bring our community the best night possible, each of the ticket dates and pricing are listed below. Group and table prices will not be open until “general tickets” on Aug 15. These table packages are for 4 or 10-person groups that will include a bottle of champagne, a custom take-home glass at the beginning of the award ceremony, a reserved table for you and your guest to celebrate your accomplishments.

FAQ

Is there a dress code for the event?

While we want everyone to feel their full selves and be comfortable, this is a celebration and would appreciate it if people dress accordingly. Think casual wedding vibes.

What is the schedule for the night of A18?

Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the award show will start at 7:30 p.m. We please ask that you attempt to be at the venue by 7:00 p.m. so we can get everyone checked -in, settled, and set -up for the show to start on time.

If the event is canceled, how do I obtain a refund?

In the case that the event is canceled, a 50% refund will be sent to the email and card used when purchasing through Eventbrite.

Can I get a refund after purchasing my ticket?

Refunds are only offered in the event that the gala is canceled, however you are able to transfer your ticket to another person should you not be able to attend. Please reach out to gala@kansascity.aiga.org should you need to transfer your ticket, and we will get the name and contact info transferred for the check-in process.

Do I need to bring proof of ticket purchase to the event?

We will have whatever name the ticket was purchased under on a list at the door so please just present that name and we’ll get you checked in. If you are under a group ticket, please try your best to all come in at once (but we know life is crazy so if you are not all together please let the person at the door know).

What parking arrangements are available at the venue?

Parking is next door in the garage labeled ‘Corrigan Station.’ After 5 p.m. the garage will be open for free parking. The venue is across the street where we will have a sign guiding you in.

 
Where do I go to check in?

Once inside you will take the elevator to the top floor. There will be someone helping guide you to the elevator and up. Check- in will happen once you step off the elevator and before you are welcomed onto the roof.

What happens if it rains?

In the chance of rain, we will still be hosting the gala at the same venue, just in the basement rather than the rooftop. All parking and elevator instructions will still apply. 

Can I buy a ticket on-site?

If we have any remaining tickets, they will be for sale at the door for a premium price. This is not a guarantee, so we highly suggest purchasing ahead of time to secure your spot.

Will there be food at the event?

We will be serving wood-fired pizza and salad for dinner (with vegan and vegetarian options) catered by Devoured Pizza. Dessert will be an assortment of small desserts such as cake pops and macarons catered by Poppy Cake Studio. Included in your ticket is also beer and wine.
