Travis Kramer has spent more than 23 years working in the field of visual design. He’s fascinated with quality ideas and craftsmanship and marrying the two together, and wants to share that perspective with you. Travis currently serves as SVP, Managing Design Director at Barkley in Kansas City.

He’s had the opportunity to design for Applebee’s, At Home, Coca Cola, IHOP, KC Repertory Theatre Co, NASCAR, Planet Fitness, ReeceNichols, Sonic Drive-In, Sprint, Vanity Fair and more. He’s passionate about the impact that design can have on culture and society. He has worked with organizations ranging from Teach for America to the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend, which benefits Children’s Mercy Hospital. He enjoys telling stories that benefit the arts, education, and the community as a whole that we live in. He and the Barkley design team have been recognized by AIGA, Clio Awards, Cannes Lions, NPR, Communication Arts, Print, Graphis, Ad Age, How, The One Show and more. He also loves turning off his computer and doing things with his hands. That includes everything from tending to his chickens to his large veggie garden plot to building fireworks from scratch. (Yes, you read that right.) The highlight of his life, however, are his wonderful wife and two kids.
